Health Education Calendar

Education for good health begins with people. Health education aims to improve health skills, behavior and attitudes by giving one a sense of responsibility for their own health.

 

Through health education, patients make positive health decisions which allow them to live longer, better lives and control their medical conditions.

Northeast Valley Health Corporation’s (NEVHC) Health Education Department strives to be a leader in offering patient and community education services. The goal of the department is to promote healthy lifestyles, improve patient knowledge and skills to manage healthy conditions, and provide resources and referrals appropriate for enhancing health and wellness.
